Eureka Mountain Breeze Tent Bestreview
We purchased this tent to take with us on a week long camping trip out of our kayaks. Our old tent did not have vestibules, so we were looking to step up to a tent that would allow us to store our gear near us instead of in our boats.
The Mountain Breeze was just as compact as our old tent when stored, yet more than doubled our sleeping room. We stored our gear outside in the vestibules, leaving more room for our feet inside the tent. The squared off ceiling gave us much more headroom, making it easier for us to change clothes. Even with two of us, we were able to sleep without crowding each other. The doors on both sides made camp set up twice as fast- plus no squishing the other one to get out of the tent!
Set up is easy, even for one person. It took a bit of getting used to, since the design used grommets instead of hooks, but we figured it out (even without looking at the directions!)
The only draw back was, in the weather we had and with two of us breathing all night, the fly was covered in condensation. We learned to open one of the vestibule doors to stop this. The up side was, as the week got colder we were snug in our summer sleeping bags despite 40% weather.
A local dealer wanted more than 320.00 for this tent- a bit pricey for us- but for the price we paid on Amazon- 149.00 - it was a steal!>Read More..
